The Greater Pittsburgh Poodle Club will be holding it's meeting on July 1, 2015 instead of the regular first Wednesday of the month. The entries will close on that day and we can finalize the final arrangements for our specialty show. The meeting will be held at 7:00 at the Wexford Kings.
Also for those of you that can bring or send anything for hospitality for our lunch buffet please contact Peggy Cancelmi at firstname.lastname@example.org or she may contact you, we always appreciate any help in donations we can get for that for that. Hope to see all of you there.
The first Wednesday of every month.
* Everyone is welcome to come earlier to have dinner (at their expense) prior to the meeting.

For our March meeting, we will be joining the Bichon Club for a talk by holistic/accupressure veterinarian, Dr. Doug Kneuven. I have attended his workshop, and found it very informative. It will be held on March 11, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the William Anderson Library. It is located at the corner of Saltsburg and Stotler Rds.
This will be in place of our regular meeting, so please mark your calendars and plan to attend this informative meeting.
Please let me know if you're planning to attend, as Renee will need to have a room to accommodate everyone.
On July 10th, 2011, our club, together with 6 other clubs from the Pittsburgh area, sponsored a Seminar given by Dr W. Jean Dodds, DVM. The seminar was entitled "A Rare and Unforgettable One Day Seminar with Dr. Jean Dodds". This seminar was slide intensive with new statistics and a broad scope of information regarding the autoimmune system. Dr. Dodds discussed thyroid related problems; Immune-mediated diseases; vaccinations; genetics; alternative treatments and therapies; nutrition and how all these affect our canine companions. She took time to answer all the questions the attendees had. It was truly a very informative seminar.
